Scale and Shareholding
The offering by Tata company is historic in scale, comprising a fresh issue of 21 crore shares and an OFS by Tata Sons which is around 23 crore shares and the International Finance Corporation, 3.58 crore shares. Post-IPO, Tata Sons, the promoter, will continue to hold a significant stake, currently the Tata Sons owns 88.6% of the company’s total shares.
